Avionics Engineer
Master of Science (or equivalent Engineering school), at least 3 to 5 years of experience in avionics and aeronautical embedded systems
To specify, design and oversee integration and qualification of avionics system architecture (displays, communication…)
Structure Workpackage Manager
Mechanical Engineering Diploma with a strong experience in the design of aircraft structures
To lead the development of the airship structure workpackage
Structure Design Engineer
Technical or Mechanical Engineering diploma with a significant expertise in the design of aircraft structures
To conduct development and design of metallic and composite structural elements by leading structure work packages from concept to industrialization
Navigation System Manager
Master of Science (or equivalent Engineering school), at least 3 to 5 years of experience in avionics and aeronautical embedded systems with a very good English Level (C1)
To specify, design and oversee integration and qualification of the Navigation System, and participate in the supplier(s) selection and follow-up
Control Laws Leader
Engineering diploma or PhD in flight dynamic and flight control laws with a significant experience in the automatic systems control of aircrafts
To define, design and implement flight control laws for airships with hovering capability
System Engineers
Master of Science (or equivalent Engineering school) with a significant experience in aircraft embedded systems architecture
To specify and design electromechanical systems architecture and oversee the full development and integration of these systems
Certification Engineer
Master of Science (or equivalent Engineering school), at least 3 years of experience in the airworthiness field at aircraft/system level
To take part in conducting LCA60T civil certification process
Safety Engineer
Master of Science (or equivalent Engineering school), at least 3 years of experience in the aerospace safety field at aircraft/system level
To conduct safety analysis (CDD, FHA, OHA, PASA, PRA…)
EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) Engineer
Master of Science (or equivalent Engineering school) with a significant experience in airborne wiring systems
To specify and design wiring system architecture and oversee the full development and integration of this system
Propulsion Engineer
Engineering Diploma with a strong technical knowledge of energy, aeronautical propulsion, thermal, mechanical and systems engineering
To conduct development and design of propulsion systems
System Engineering Engineer
Master of Science (or equivalent Engineering school), at least 3 years of experience in an aerospace systems engineering organization
To define and deploy Systems Engineering methods, processes and tools (ARP4754A, DO/ED Standards, INCOSE)
Flight Tests Pilot
Flight Test rated pilot (Airplane or Helicopter) with a valid Commercial Pilot Licence (IR), with 10 years of experience in Flight testing or Experienced Commercial Pilot of Airships, involved in Aerostatics Flight Testing
To participate in the Design of the FLYING WHALES Airship and the Operations ecosystem of the FLYING WHALES Airline company

A revolutionary transport solution with a capacity of 60 tons: the LCA60T loads and unloads dozens of tons in hover, independent from transport infrastructure.

The program LCA60T is financially supported by “Investissements d’Avenir”. Indeed, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe granted 25M Euros to the program. BPI, several Regions in France et DGA also contribute to the public financing of the program.
