LCA60T : overview of helium cell assembly tests

Two months ago, we announced the start of the Origami Test, carried out in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, in France.

The Flying Whales teams, in partnership with HEMERIA, designed and built a 1/5th scale model of a section of our airship to demonstrate its assembly process.

The goal of these tests is to explore and validate :

– the folding/unfolding, integration and inflation processes for our helium cells.
– maintenance processes and reinstallation concepts.
– helium management processes in the installation and maintenance phases.

Today, we are proud to unveil a video preview of this impressive test.
