Signature with Canadian North
On June 20, Canadian North Airlines and FLYING WHALES signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the 2023 Paris Air Show, opening a collaboration to study the potential of FLYING WHALES cargo airship solution in Northern Canada and the High Arctic operational conditions for the region, and how Inuit communities will benefit from the LCA60T.
“We’re pleased to partner with Flying Whales on their game changing innovation. We’ll provide detailed insights gained over our 77-years of experience operating in the Canadian North and Arctic. The airship being developed by Flying Whales represents the best and most advanced airship for our Canadian Operations.” Michael Rodyniuk, President and CEO of Canadian North Airlines.
“We are proud to sign this agreement with Canadian North. As an Inuit owned company and with their expertise in Northern operations, Canadian North is a very good partner for a better understanding of the actual needs regarding freight & logistic transportation to remote communities in Northern Canada and the conditions we will face in the region.” Sebastien BOUGON, President and CEO of FLYING WHALES.
