Visit to the FLYING WHALES Headquarters by the Malagasy Delegation

🇲🇬 On March 19, 2025, a Malagasy delegation led by Ms. Aurélie Razafinjato, Minister of Population and Solidarity, accompanied by Mr. Lionel Ratsirimpady, Counselor for Political Affairs and the Diaspora at the Embassy of Madagascar, visited the FLYING WHALES headquarters in Suresnes.

The purpose of this visit was to explore the innovative airship technology developed by FLYING WHALES for air cargo transport and its potential applications in the Indian Ocean.

At the heart of the discussions were the capabilities of the LCA60T, an airship capable of transporting up to 60 tons of cargo without ground infrastructure, addressing critical needs in healthcare, humanitarian aid, and logistics. This technology offers rapid solutions in emergency situations, particularly in response to natural disasters such as cyclones and floods, which frequently impact Madagascar.

The prospects for deploying this technology in the Indian Ocean region, through a network linking 22 African countries via FLYING WHALES SERVICES, generated significant interest, especially given the region’s current logistical challenges.

The feedback was positive, emphasizing the importance of innovation in strengthening territorial resilience in the face of crises.

This visit took place in a context favorable to cooperation between Madagascar and France, just one month before the state visit to Antananarivo in late April. This visit will bring together President Emmanuel Macron and 80 French companies to enhance economic and diplomatic ties between the two countries. A promising step toward a future where technology and international collaboration contribute to tackling human and environmental challenges. 🌍🤝
